The project was for a new home with no existing landscape. A pool with travertine decking was added, the driveway was expanded, an artificial putting green, raised fire pit, water & fire feature, and pergola with outdoor kitchen were all major features incorporated into the design. The front yard was given a entry walk to match the driveway. There was a larger rip rap filled basin with plantings added to address the on site drainage. The front landscape was done with desert plants to provide a striking look that will become more beautiful with time. In the back the goal was to provide an oasis with plenty of space for entertaining and enjoying the Arizona weather. The design tied all the features together in a comfortable layout. As the plantings continue to grow this space will only get nicer for the homeowner. It is hard to tell which of the great features incorporated into this project are my favorite, the pergola / outdoor kitchen provides a great space to entertaining and cooking while being protected from the Arizona sun, the cooper water / fire woks are an amazing element that add to the ambiance of the space both day and night, the fire pit provides a great transition from the pool to the putting green. This was one of those projects I hated to leave cause I could have spent a lot of time enjoying this space.
