Private Residence 39

This project consisted largely of creating a more usable patio space off the back of the house. The existing pool and much of the existing vegetation were saved. The remodel included the removal of a covered patio post that fell right in the middle of the space and interrupted the view and flow from the home. A large pergola structure was added to increase usability and to shade the home. The rolled bond beam of the pool was removed and the decking was expanded in a form that worked well with the existing pool and made the space much more inviting. Additionally an outdoor kitchen structure and firepit were built. A spa was located and additionally plantings and a landscape lighting system were installed as well to finish off the transformed space.
